ZYZZYVA is a USAU men’s ultimate frisbee club team based in Berkeley, CA. This is my first year playing with them, and I had the opportunity to design the 2025 season jersey kit. This was a challenging yet thrilling project for me, as this was the first time I’ve entered the realm of sport design. This team went from almost extinct to full revival, and we managed to fight our way to Regionals hosted in Arizona this year!

The Creative direction for this project took inspiration from the 1980 Seattle Sonic Jerseys and a more retro basketball style. The idea was not to change up the original Zyzzyva branding, but to expand upon it through a vintage lens by first deepening the green and enriching the gold. Thanks to our partnership with DH Ultimate, we brought these jerseys to life.
