The Olympic Games are an international sports festival, held every four years featuring summer and winter sports competitions in which thousands of athletes from around the world participate in a variety of competitions.

This new identity system represents the energy and vibrant spirit of the Summer Olympics. The bright and colorful palate was inspired by the warmth of the sun and the flames of the Olympic torch. The modern typography and design strongly evoke the industrial architecture and environmental foundation of the city of Chicago.
