Something I loved about Ugly dolls growing up was their loveable authenticity of being imperfect which made them unique. Uglydoll came out with comic books that allowed people to immerse themselves in their world and fall in love with their hilarious sarcastic humor. Each Ugly doll came with a tag introducing its personality; citing their passions and fears which really made them come to life and feel real. That was lost when the Uglydoll movie and rebranding left the product. Instead, the branding turned clean, smooth, and stale. So I decided to make them a website for what could have been if they stayed true to their original roots.

My goal is to create a place of nostalgia and community for everyone who grew up with Uglydolls. People can take a trip down memory lane and explore the vast Uglyverse and its loveable characters. As well as the freedom and creativity to create their very own unique Uglydoll.
